P.E.O. stands as one of North America's most enduring women's organizations. With nearly 6,000 local chapters and a membership of almost 230,000 spanning across the United States and Canada, P.E.O. extends its support to women through deep friendships, the bonds of sisterhood, and a myriad of educational scholarships, grants, awards, and loans. Procedures
Receiving an Invitation to Join
Confirm your eligibility for membership. Women aged 18 and above are eligible for consideration for P.E.O. membership. P.E.O. upholds a policy of non-discrimination against women based on age, ethnicity, religion, or educational background.
Connect with a member of the P.E.O. community to discuss membership. If you don't have any connections, reach out to the P.E.O. Executive Office.

Arrange a meeting with local chapter members. This allows you to delve deeper into the organization and provides local chapters with the chance to elaborate on the commitment and advantages of membership.
Following an invitation, chapter members will engage in further discussions with you about membership and the philanthropic mission of P.E.O.
Officially accept the membership invitation. A formal acceptance to the local chapter should include a declaration of your faith in God. Subsequently, you'll undergo initiation by the local chapter and become an official member of P.E.O.
