Advertising is a means of promoting products to a wide range of consumers with the aim of making them aware of and purchasing the product. Previously, advertisements often appeared in a small part of the website, but nowadays, advertisements often appear a lot, even taking up almost the entire website. So how do you block these annoying and visually disturbing advertisements? If you use Firefox, there is an excellent tool for blocking ads called Adblock Plus.

Below is an example of advertising on a website

- Go to Google and search for 'Adblock Plus for Firefox' in the Google search box, then click on the link as shown in the illustration:

- Add the extension to Firefox by clicking on the 'Add to Firefox' button

- Proceed to install Adblock Plus by clicking on the 'Install Now' button

- After installation, refresh the web page by pressing F5 and the result obtained is:

So now the advertisements on the website have been removed, doesn't it look much nicer?
Moreover, you can also customize to turn off any advertisement by clicking on the 'block' text appearing directly on that advertisement, the Add Adblock Plus filter rule dialog box appears, select Custom, and follow the instructions below:

From now on, you can browse the web comfortably without worrying about annoying advertisements.
