Windows 10 comes default with English as its language, but it supports various languages worldwide. If you are planning to study in Russia, it's advisable to change the interface on your computer to Russian characters along with the input method in Russian for easy information retrieval in the native country.
Installing the Russian keyboard on Windows 10 is quite straightforward. Refer to the following steps for execution:
Step 1: Go to Start menu (1) => Settings (2).
Step 2: Select Time & Language.
Step 3: Choose Language => Add a language.
Step 4: Search for the Russian language (1) as shown in the image with 3 icons next to it and click Next (2) to proceed.
Step 5: If you prefer the entire interface in Russian, click on the Russian language and select the upward arrow to change the entire interface to Russian. Afterward, restart your computer for the new language to take effect.
Step 6: After restarting your computer, click on the language option checkbox (1) in the system tray and select Russian keyboard (2).
Step 7: Open Notepad and try typing characters on the keyboard to check if they are converted to Russian. If successful, you have completed the process.
