Step 2: Open any webpage on Microsoft Edge, especially pages that do not support ActiveX on Microsoft Edge.
Step 3: Press the More button at the top right corner of Microsoft Edge and select Open with Internet Explorer.
Now, websites not supporting ActiveX on Microsoft Edge can be directly opened on IE, allowing users to access a variety of content on the page easily.
*How to pin IE to Start Menu or Taskbar for quicker access
For websites that don't support opening on Microsoft Edge, users will need to continuously open them on IE, leading to the suggestion that users should pin IE to the Start Menu or Taskbar for easier access.
Step 1: Press Start Menu > search for Internet Explorer
Step 2: Right-click on the search result and select Pin to Start or Pin to Taskbar.
After clicking on these two options, the IE browser can be pinned to the Start Menu or Taskbar of the computer for users to conveniently access this browser faster when opening websites supporting ActiveX control.
In general, ActiveX is one of the essential tools nowadays and still cannot be stopped from being used for many websites.
