- Step 1: Use the remote control to turn off the air conditioner. Then, switch off the circuit breaker for the air conditioner and wait for about 10 - 20 seconds.

- Step 2: After the waiting period, you can switch the circuit breaker back on and press the reset button on the air conditioner. In some modern air conditioner models, you may find the reset button on the indoor unit instead of the remote control.
