Step 1: Open Start Menu, in the Search bar type dccw then click on the dccw (Display Color Calibrator) app displayed in the search column.
Step 2: On the first display window of the application, click Next to proceed with adjusting computer screen color.
Step 3: In the next step, the tool will ask you to set the screen color to default, you can choose to do so or not, then click Next.
Step 4: The first step in adjusting screen color is setting the Gamma. In this window, you'll learn that gamma is the range between red, green, and blue colors. In the next step, you need to set the gamma to display at the standard level like the middle box (Good gamma).
Step 5: Use the mouse to drag the gamma adjustment column on the left to achieve the best display level. Press Reset to revert to default settings.
Step 6: Press Next to proceed to the next step, adjusting Brightness and Contrast.
Step 7: You'll be explained that Brightness is how light and dark colors are displayed on the screen. You need to adjust the screen color in the next step to achieve the best brightness (Good brightness).
Step 8: You need to use the setup keys on the computer screen to adjust the brightness so that the X mark in the image is displayed most clearly.
Step 9: Next is adjusting Contrast. Contrast is the factor that determines the sharpness between two background colors as shown in the image below. Click Next to set the contrast to achieve sharpness like in the middle image (Good contrast).
Step 10: Similar to adjusting brightness, use the physical buttons on the screen to adjust the contrast so that you can clearly and sharply perceive the image of the man in the tool.
Step 11: You need to select color tones that are suitable for your eyes. Click Next to continue.
Step 12: Drag the sliders under the three color tones of red, green, and blue to adjust the color of your computer screen to suit.
Step 13: In this step, you will be prompted to compare between the color of the previous screen (Previous Calibration) and the color just adjusted (Current Calibration) to choose which screen color suits you better. Click Finish to select the new screen color and Cancel to revert to the old screen color.
Step 14: If you click Finish, you will be taken to the ClearType Text Tuner window. This window helps you read text and view images more clearly with the new screen color settings. Click Next to continue.
Step 15: You need to set your computer back to the original resolution according to the manufacturer's settings and click Next.
Step 16: The tool will provide you with various text samples. You just need to select the text sample that you feel displays the text most clearly and sharply.
Step 17: After completing the selection, your screen will be automatically adjusted to display the text as you have set. Click Finish to complete the process.
