2. Automatic Ice Making Mechanism on Electrolux EBB3762K-H and EBB3462K-H Refrigerators
The automatic ice making function pumps water from the water reservoir in the fridge and distributes it to the automatic ice maker in the freezer compartment. Then, the ice is released into the ice bin located beneath the ice maker.
If the water reservoir is empty or below the required level, the ice maker will automatically shut off after 3 attempts to pump water from the reservoir. The ice maker indicator light on the user interface will display the operational status of the ice maker.
In case the water reservoir is empty and the ice maker displays a 'turned off' status with a red light, simply refill the water and select “ICEMAKER” to “turn on” the ice maker and continuously make ice.

4. Key Notes When Making Automatic Ice with Electrolux EBB3462K-H and EBB3762K-H Refrigerators
When making automatic ice with the Electrolux EBB3462K-H and EBB3762K-H refrigerators, you need to strictly observe the following issues:
- Do not pour any liquid other than clean water (filtered water or mineral water) into the water reservoir, sweetened water, fruit juice, tea, or hot water, etc. can damage your automatic ice maker. The water reservoir can withstand a maximum water temperature of 60°C.
- Remove and clean the ice bin and water reservoir once a month, discarding unused ice and water. This action will ensure fresh ice and smooth operation of your ice maker. Ensure the refrigerator is placed flat to avoid unbalanced ice cubes.
- It is recommended to always fill the water to the “Minimum” level indicator to have cold drinks ready and ice ready to be made.
- It's a good idea to pour water into a few glasses first and/or make ice to flush the system or remove any impurities on the first use or after installation.
