How to Change Tenda AC10U WiFi Password
To set up or change the Tenda AC10U WiFi password, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Plug in the Router and use an Ethernet cable to connect it to the Internet. Attach it to the WAN port (green) on Tenda AC10U.
Next, observe the WAN light turning on, indicating a successful connection.
Step 2: Use a Laptop to connect to the Tenda AC10U WiFi network. At this point, the Modem will have a WiFi network with a name circled in red below and no password.
Step 3: Open a web browser -> then enter the default address: 192.168.0.1 -> press Enter to access.
Click on the Start button to begin.
Step 4: Choose the connection mechanism. Currently, the Dynamic IP Address mechanism is commonly used -> so, select Dynamic IP Address -> then press Next to proceed.
Continue with the following choices:
- Select the mode as Transmit Power: High
- Assign a name to your Wi-Fi
- Set the Wi-Fi password
- Check the box for Set the WiFi password as the login password of the admin account if you want the login and WiFi passwords to be the same.
- Set the login password for the configuration web page.
Step 5: Successful setup, now you can connect to the new WiFi name
Go to the WiFi connection section -> then find the WiFi with the name you just set -> and connect as usual.
Step 6: At this stage, revisit the Tenda configuration website -> then enter the web login password you just reset.
You will see the Internet Status interface indicating a successful connection. You can view the number of connected users and connected USB devices.
Navigate to Wifi Setting to customize WiFi and reset the WiFi password if desired. Additionally, you can configure other settings such as Wifi Name & Password, Wifi Schedule, Wireless Repeating, Channel & Bandwidth...
Assuming you choose Wifi Name & Password (WiFi name and password) -> the interface after your selection will look like the image below:
In the 2.4 GHz Network section, you can name your WiFi, then choose the security mode and enter the login password.
The 5 GHz Network section is initially turned off. The 5GHz network provides stability and faster speeds, although it has limitations on devices that can pick up the signal.
To set up, follow the mouse click as described in the image below, and it will display information for you to configure similar to the 2.4 GHz Network section.
After completing the setup, click Save to save and finish.
