To check network speed on Android, iPhone, follow these steps:
Step 1 : Download and install the Speedtest app for Android, iPhone suitable for your device here:
+ For Android devices: Get Speedtest for Android
+ For iPhone devices: Get Speedtest for iPhone.
Step 2 : Launch the downloaded and installed Speedtest app on your device as mentioned above.
Step 3 : Then, at the main interface of the Speedtest app, we will see information about the Internet network we are accessing, and to check the Internet speed on the phone, we will press the Go icon.
Immediately, the program performs Internet speed tests.
Step 4 : At this point, the system will proceed to check the network latency (Ping) as well as the Download speed.
Step 5 : Once the download speed measurement process is complete, the program will proceed to measure the upload speed.
After completing the Internet speed check on the phone, you can now see detailed information about the network connection you are using, as shown in the image above. You can press Go to perform another speed test.
Step 6 : Additionally, the Speedtest app provides some features to help you utilize the app better, such as the Results section to monitor the network speed measurement process.
Furthermore, you can customize the unit for checking Internet speed on the phone by selecting the Settings option as shown in the image above and choosing the unit type you are using.
- Mbps: Measures network speed in Megabytes per second.
- Mb/s: Measures real-time network speed in Megabits per second.
- kB/s: Measures network speed in Kilobytes per second.
