To conquer and triumph in Dota Auto Chess against players of similar level, you need to employ certain strategies, smart plays, and adaptability to ascend to higher ranks like Bishop.

Tips for climbing to the Bishop rank in Dota Auto Chess
- Each player has 30 seconds to draft units. Focus on acquiring 2-star units early in the game, buy aggressively before round 10, avoid hoarding gold or locking yourself into a lineup before assembling a smart 2-star hero composition.
1. Start the game by selecting the simplest and strongest combo
- A relatively easy-to-play and powerful combo early on is Goblins/Mech or Warriors with a strong backline DPS like SF. Prioritize BH in the early rounds, followed by Goblins/Mech and lastly Warriors, Orcs.
- Timbersaw, Clock, and BH are considered strongest in the early game. If Lycan or Lone Druid appears in rounds 3 or 4, pick them even if they don't fit your current combo, as they're beneficial at the start.
- Always pick SF before round 10 unless you already have a 2-star Demon Hunter or Chaos Knight, Queen of Pain because they're among the strongest early game carries.
2. Resource management, current Gold count, and prudent investments
- Avoid rerolling units when you're in a tough spot, don't save gold in the first 10 rounds of the match, aim to reach 50 Gold as early as possible, don't stick to a specific lineup. Money and health are equally important, don't sacrifice health too eagerly to save money, rerolling 1 to 2 times won't bankrupt you if it means adding a few 2-star units to stop losing health.
- Some players excel at saving money while minimizing health loss, they always maintain a lineup even if it doesn't win, but it also minimizes health loss, couriers reach level 9/10 quickly and it helps them get the strongest units with the highest drop rates.
- Losing some health is not a big deal, each lineup will be strong at different times so you don't have to win every round in the game. Recognize that you may have to sacrifice gold to maintain a winning streak or losing streak.
3. Understand the strengths of each unit and combine good combos to have more options early in the game, don't stick to a rigid combo.
