I. How to hide your Zalo nickname when online on phone and computer
Recently, Zalo has added the feature to hide Zalo accounts on phones and computers, making it easy for you to hide Zalo on your phone.
Follow these steps:
Step 1: On your phone, open the Zalo app (if not logged in, log in) and then at the bottom right, click the profile icon (Figure 1). Next, choose 'Privacy' (Figure 2).
Step 2: Click 'Show online status' (Figure 3). If you see the slider at the bottom of the screen is displaying in green, slide it back to display in gray to hide the online status (Figure 4). Note that if you turn off the access status, it means you won't know if others are online or not.
II. How to hide Zalo account without letting friends see
In addition to hiding Zalo nickname when online, you can perform some actions below to prevent others from searching for your Zalo account to avoid being bothered. Especially accounts that want to connect with you to invite you to use their services.
Execution Steps:
Step 1: On your phone, open the Zalo app. Then, click on the profile icon at the bottom right to go to your profile page (Figure 1). Next, click 'Privacy' (Figure 2).
Step 2: Swipe up on the screen, find and press 'Manage search and friend requests' (Figure 3). When this page opens, click on each checkbox to uncheck them (Figure 4). Now, you have completely hidden your account, and others cannot find you.
