Sesame shrimp is an easy-to-make dish, suitable for those with limited time but still able to cook a delicious dinner.
Guide to Cooking Flavorful Sesame Shrimp

Ingredients:
– 150 grams of fresh whole shrimp
– 3 grams of sesame seeds
– Spices: shallots, spring onions, garlic, chili, pepper, fish sauce, salt, sugar, broth seasoning
Instructions:
– After thoroughly cleaning the shrimp, remove the whiskers and hard parts at the head, then drain. Marinate the shrimp with fish sauce, broth seasoning, sugar, pepper for about 15-20 minutes to enhance the flavor of the sesame shrimp.
– If using fresh sesame seeds, roast them over medium heat until they turn light yellow and fragrant, then remove from heat and transfer to a small bowl to prevent overheating from the pan.
– Heat about 2 teaspoons of cooking oil in a pan, sauté the chopped shallots and minced garlic until fragrant. Then, add the marinated shrimp, stir-fry evenly, then season with salt, sugar, or you can add a little fish sauce if you want the shrimp to have a richer flavor.
– Note to start with high heat when adding the shrimp, then reduce to low heat and add about 50ml of broth, then simmer until the sauce thickens. Continue to add sliced chili and finely chopped spring onions, stir well, then turn off the heat.
– Finally, mix in the roasted sesame seeds to complete. Additionally, you can sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the sesame shrimp after arranging them on a plate to add visual appeal.

A properly made sesame shrimp should have vibrant red shrimp, firm texture with a balanced savory-sweet seasoning, especially highlighted by the fragrant and enticing roasted sesame coating.
