Creating virtual emails on IdBloc serves various purposes, whether for work-related tasks, advertising campaigns, or simply to block spam mail. You probably know that if you use your personal email for registration or creating accounts, you'll definitely receive notifications afterward, maybe a few or many. If you don't want to receive those notifications, you can unsubscribe from the emails, ensuring you won't receive them in the future. However, some services don't allow you to unsubscribe, making it annoying to reluctantly receive those emails. In such cases, the best solution is to create virtual emails to minimize spam mail.
To combat spam mail, users can create virtual emails on IdBloc.
How to Create Virtual Emails on IdBloc
To create virtual emails using IdBloc, follow these steps:
Step 1: Access IdBloc via the link provided here. The interface upon accessing will appear as shown below:
Next, click Sign Up It's Free to proceed with creating an account.
Step 2: The Sign up interface appears -> enter your email address for account registration and password -> then click Sign up to proceed with registration.
After you fill in the information and click Sign up -> you need to go to the email address you just registered to confirm the email.
If you access it and don't see the activation email -> click Didn't receive confirmation instructions as described in the image below:
A new interface will appear -> re-enter the registered email address -> then click Resend confirmation instructions for the system to resend the email to you.
You access your email (the image below shows us logging into Gmail for confirmation) -> click Confirm my account to confirm.
Confirmation successful -> proceed to log back into your account.
Step 3: In the main interface of IdBloc -> click New Address to create a virtual email.
You'll notice that each virtual email created on IdBloc has a rather long string of characters as its name. With this address, you can't change or reset its name, but you can set a representative name for that address in the Name section to easily identify each virtual email you create.
The format of virtual emails will be as follows:
[string of numbers]@users.idbloc.co
Next, click Create Email to proceed with creating a virtual email.
Step 4: As mentioned, you've just created one virtual email. To create additional email addresses, you can perform actions on the list of virtual emails. Here, you can edit by clicking Edit (the pencil icon) or delete by clicking Delete (the trash bin icon).
These virtual emails you've just created are all linked to your IdBloc account email. When you use these virtual emails to send messages, the mails will be forwarded to your real email address.
You can also create virtual emails using the IdBloc extension when you add it to the Chrome browser.
- Navigate back to the IdBloc homepage -> click Add to Chrome
- Then click Add to Chrome again to add the extension to your browser.
- Once you've added the extension -> click on the IdBloc icon on the toolbar -> then proceed to log in or sign up as you would on the web browser.
If you've already created virtual emails on the IdBloc website -> when you open the IdBloc extension just added, you'll also see the list of emails you've just created.
So there you have it, we've just explored how to successfully create virtual emails on IdBloc. Although IdBloc currently only allows users to create a maximum of 10 emails, that's more than enough for users to use in registrations or email sending. Wishing you success!
