Facebook has recently introduced a feature that automatically plays videos as you scroll through your wall or homepage. While this feature allows quick video viewing without the need to hit play, many find it unnecessary.
Even though the sound of the videos won't play automatically, for many, this feature is entirely unwanted. If you're one of those who wish to disable the auto-play feature on Facebook, this post will guide you through the process.
Step 1: On your Facebook interface, click on the triangle icon in the upper right corner and select Settings.

Step 2: Next, select Video at the bottom of the left-hand menu.

Step 3: In the Video Settings section, under Autoplay, choose Default. From the dropdown menu, select Off to set disabling autoplay for videos on Facebook.

That's it! You have successfully turned off the automatic video playback on Facebook. Go back to your homepage and check out the results. Best of luck!
