The data in your Excel document contains numerous empty cells, causing disorder in the layout. If you attempt to delete each empty cell individually, it will consume a significant amount of time.
Instead of deleting each data cell individually, you can delete empty rows or columns to streamline the process.
This article provides guidance on how to delete blank rows in Excel 2013. The process is similar for Excel 2010 and 2007.
Method 1
Step 1: Firstly, select the data range you wish to delete. You can choose the entire data on the sheet by pressing Ctrl + A.

Step 2: Next, go to the Home tab -> Find & Select -> Go To Special (or press the key combination Ctrl + G and select Special).

Step 3: The Go To Special dialog box will appear. Choose Blanks and then click OK.

Step 4: At this point, all empty cells are selected. Choose the Home tab -> Delete -> Delete Sheet Rows to remove the empty rows.

If you want to delete empty columns, select Delete -> Delete Sheet Columns.

Alternatively, if you wish to delete all empty cells, right-click and choose Delete (or press the key combination Ctrl + - ) to open the Delete dialog box.

Here, you can opt to Shift cells up by default or choose Entire row or Entire column to adjust surrounding cells. Press OK to remove the empty data cells.

Method 2
Step 1: Select the data range you want to delete empty rows from, or you can choose the entire dataset by pressing Ctrl + A.

Step 2: Go to the Data tab, and in the Sort & Filter section, choose Filter.

Step 3: Next, select the arrow icon in the first cell of any column. Here, uncheck Select All in the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Scroll the scrollbar to the bottom and select the Blanks box, then press OK.

Step 5: Now, the blank rows will be filtered. Choose the Home tab -> Delete -> Delete Sheet Rows to remove the blank rows.

Alternatively, you can utilize VBA to delete empty rows, but it might be complex for those unfamiliar with VBA. Hence, you can simply use one of the two methods above to swiftly delete empty rows in Excel. Best of luck!
