1. Earning Gold
- Accumulate Gold after each round, regardless of victory or defeat
Each win or loss in the game grants players 3 Gold, with an additional 1 Gold for victories. Winning consecutively leads to Rounds 30-40. Adjusting your Gold count is crucial—maintain a winning or losing streak to maximize Gold, aiding your late-game team composition. This risky strategy is prevalent in higher ranks.
- Earning Gold through Interest
Gold earned through interest accrues at a rate of 10% based on your current total. Every 10 Gold yields 1 additional Gold, compounding accordingly. The optimal gold deposit is 50, providing 5 Gold each round. The prime accumulation phase is mid-game, with 5-6 units on your board.
2. Efficient and Strategic Gold Usage
Players are not allowed to lose in the first 5 rounds or until they have 5 units on the board. You can only sell level 1 units to avoid losses. Players can retain up to 8 units, preserving essential pieces for later win streaks while saving to reach specific Gold milestones.
Limit early rolling to prevent Gold deficits compared to other players. The current meta often involves starting with a Goblin lineup for increased early-game winning potential and rapid health regeneration.
Once you've accumulated enough Gold, invest in upgrading units to increase board presence. Maintain a certain Gold reserve before rolling or purchasing higher-tier units, strategically combining factions for a powerful lineup.
