1. Requirements to enable dark mode for Gmail

2. Enable dark mode for Gmail on Android
Method 1. Using phone settings
Open Settings on your device, select Display from the feature list. Next, find Dark theme and slide the toggle to the right to activate the feature.
Method 2: Setting within the app
Step 1: Open the Gmail app on your phone and tap on the Menu icon with three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the screen.
Step 2: In the feature list, scroll down and tap on Settings then continue to tap on General Settings .
Step 3: In the settings window, select Theme , choose Dark , and the app will immediately switch to dark mode.
3. Enable dark mode for Gmail on iPhone
Step 1: Open Settings on your phone. Then, select Display & Brightness .
Step 2: In the new workspace, select Dark .
