In the fiercely competitive market of Vietnam, Grab has introduced a completely new system called GrabRewards, providing users with gifts and many other advantages. Registering for GrabRewards is simple; anyone who is a Grab user can join this program.
What is GrabRewards? What is it used for?
GrabRewards functions like many cards you're often advised to get when shopping, specifically like VinGroup cards. GrabRewards consists of 4 membership levels: Member, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
- For Member, you only need to register for GrabRewards.
- For Silver, you need 100 points.
* At the Silver level, you enjoy discounts on Grab rides or orders through GrabFood with fewer GrabRewards points.
- For Gold, you need 300 points or more.
* At the Gold level, you receive 1.5 times the reward points as a Gold tier member.
* Enjoy discounts on Grab rides or orders through GrabFood with fewer GrabRewards points. Experience special perks like watching movies, shopping discounts, and various other services.
- To achieve the Platinum level, you need 1500 points or more.
* Enjoy all the benefits of the previous levels but with double the reward points.
* Get a 10% discount on room bookings at Booking.com.
* Exclusive monthly perks.
* Priority booking for rides.
* Have a dedicated hotline for Platinum members.
* Access exclusive privileges from Grab partners with just 5 GrabRewards points reserved for Platinum members.
How to join GrabRewards
Whether you've used Grab before or not, or even if you're no longer using it, if you want to register for GrabRewards, first download Grab to your phone here.

- Download Grab for iPhone
Step 2: Once you've downloaded the Grab app and used it to book a ride or delivery, you've automatically signed up for GrabRewards. The system will seamlessly accumulate points for you.
- Currently, Grab offers various services such as Grab Taxi, GrabCar, GrabBike, GrabExpress, GrabShare, JustGrab, Rent, and Food. You can use any of these services to earn rewards points through GrabRewards. Note that Food is not yet integrated into the GrabRewards system.
Calculating Points with GrabRewards Registration
Points are calculated based on every 10,000 Vietnamese Dong. Once you spend that amount, you'll receive points according to GrabRewards regulations.
- For GrabTaxi / GrabTaxi +, for every 10,000 Vietnamese Dong spent, you'll earn the following points.
- For JustGrab / GrabShare, for every 10,000 Vietnamese Dong spent, you'll earn the following points.
- For GrabCar / GrabCar +, for every 10,000 Vietnamese Dong spent, you'll earn the following points.
- For GrabBike / GrabExpress, for every 10,000 Vietnamese Dong spent, you'll earn the following points.
Additional Information about GrabRewards System
- Simply use Grab services to accumulate points. Points are based on the final bill when you pay in either of the two methods.
- Applying discount codes is allowed, as long as the payment is > 10,000 VND.
- GrabRewards points have expiration dates, and unused points will be forfeited.
- Currently, the redemption period for GrabRewards is divided into three phases: Phase 1 from 1/1/2018 to 1/7/2018, Phase 2 from 1/7/2018 to 31/12/2018, and the main Phase 3 from Phase 2 until 30/6/2019.
- Using Grab in any country within Grab's system will earn you points in Grab Vietnam.
- Rankings in GrabRewards have specific durations; if you don't meet the requirements in a month, you will be demoted.
To enroll in GrabRewards, users simply need to utilize Grab for ordering rides, taxis, or other services. The system will automatically accumulate points for each Grab usage, based on the final payment invoice.
