To perform a factory reset on Motorola, follow these instructions:
Method 1: Reset within Settings
Step 1. Access Settings.

Step 4. Reset the phone.

Step 5. Select erase everything > Confirm delete and the device will automatically reset for you.
Method 2: Reset using hardware keys
Step 1: Completely power off your phone.
Step 2: Press and hold both the power and volume down buttons until the recovery interface appears, then select 'Recovery'.
Step 2: Use the volume down button to move to the row 'Wipe data/factory reset' and use the power button to confirm.
Step 3: Use the volume down button to navigate to the row 'Yes- delete all user data' and use the power button to confirm
Step 4: Wait for the restoration process momentarily
Step 5: Select 'Reboot system now' to restart your phone
