Preparation
- Download Windows Phone Image Designer here
- Download DFU Firmware for Lumia here
- Turn off your Lumia device, then simultaneously press the power button and volume up button until the phone vibrates once, release the power button, then when the lightning bolt symbol appears on the screen, release the volume up button.
Step 1: First, navigate to the extracted Windows Phone Image Designer folder. Then, go to \Lumia_Flash_Tools\WPID\x86 or X64 and run the Start.bat file.
Step 2: When the window appears, check the Flash a Windows Phone image onto your phone option and click Next.
Step 3: After a few seconds, the software will detect your Lumia device with the format x.MSMx.x.x.x. Then, click the Change button above (if not visible, click refresh).
Step 4: Locate the previously downloaded FFU Firmware file.
Step 5: Once you have selected all necessary information, click the Flash button to begin.
The flashing process begins. Avoid any actions on the device to prevent risks.
After successful flashing, the screen will display the message Congratulations!
