Step 2: Next, when the Add Printer Wizard window appears, click on Next to continue.
Step 3: In the Local or Network Printer window, you need to select the type of connection with the printer.
- Local printer attached to this computer: The printer is directly connected to the computer.
- A network printer, or a printer attached to another computer: The printer is connected via the local network or connected to another computer with installed printer.
Then click on Next to continue.
Step 4: In the next window, click on Next to continue.
Step 5: Select the connection port for the printer under Use the following port. Here, choose LPT1 and then click on Next to continue.
Step 6: Choose the correct printer manufacturer under Printers. Click on Next to continue.
Step 7: When the prompt to set this printer as default appears, you can choose either Yes: Agree - No: Disagree. This situation arises when there are multiple printers on the same system. Click on Next to continue.
Step 8: In the following window, you'll be asked if you want to print a test page after completing the installation. Choose Yes: Agree - No: Disagree and click on Next to continue.
Step 9: After reviewing the summarized information, click on Finish to complete the installation process.
