Rocketfish produces TV mounts specifically designed for flat-panel TVs. Utilizing their tilting or full-motion mounts, you can easily mount your TV on a wall and adjust it to achieve the optimal viewing angle. Each mount package includes all the necessary hardware and a hex key for installation; however, additional tools are required to properly hang the TV.
Procedures
Mounting TV Brackets

- Ensure that you install the left and right brackets in corresponding holes to ensure the TV fits evenly on the mount.

- The sequence for installation is bracket, washer, and then screw.
- The M4/M5 kit typically includes 12mm screws.
- The M6/M8 kit includes 12mm, 16mm, or 22mm screws.

Secure the TV brackets to both sides of a curved television using spacers provided in the M4, M5, M6, or M8 packs. Position the spacer above the screw hole on the TV, then attach a washer, the bracket, another washer, and a screw. Tighten the screws using the hex key.

Determine if your TV mount is equipped with horizontal bars, typically found on models featuring an arm assembly. If so, slide them horizontally through the TV brackets and fasten them using 9/16-inch Phillips head screws and a screwdriver.
Begin the installation of the Wall Plate.

Locate studs in your wall using an edge-to-edge stud finder for optimal results. Choose a stud to securely mount your TV.
- If installing the TV mount into a concrete wall, use wall anchors.
- Ensure that the Rocketfish mount is not installed into drywall but supported by a stud.

Drive a pilot nail into the stud to confirm a stable mounting location.

Position your wall plate where you intend to mount your TV. Use a level to ensure it is straight, then mark the screw locations with a pencil.

Use an electric drill to create small pilot holes at the marked locations.

Align the wall plate over the pilot holes. Place a washer in front of each hole, followed by a lag bolt. Use a socket wrench to securely tighten the lag bolts into place.
- Exercise caution to avoid overtightening the lag bolts, which could damage the stud and the TV.

If your Rocketfish mount includes an arm assembly, attach it to the wall plate. Slide it downward into position, then secure the cap screws using your hex key.
Proceed with mounting the TV.

If you have a tilting model without an arm assembly, lift the TV and tilt the top toward the wall. Slide the brackets onto the wall plate until you hear a click. It may require assistance to lift the TV and position it correctly.

Alternatively, if your TV has an arm assembly, lift it and slide it sideways onto the wall plate. Ensure the arm fits under the metal tabs and secure it with bracket screws at the top and bottom.

Adjust the angle up and down for a tilting model. For models with an arm assembly, adjust the angle side to side. Some angles on the arm assembly may require adjustment using a hex key.
