Set up washing and drying at the same time
Samsung washing machines' drying function reduces or eliminates drying time by heating the inside of the washing machine. The chosen standard washing process is automatic and cannot be altered once started.
Step 1. Press the power button to turn on the washing machine.
Step 2. Select the desired process by rotating the selection knob.
Step 3. Press the Dry Level button to choose the desired dryness level.
Step 4. Add detergent and fabric softener according to the amount of laundry.
Step 5. Press the Start/Pause button to initiate the washing and drying cycle.
Setting up washing and drying simultaneously helps save time, freeing you up for other tasks.
Note:
- It's advisable to limit items that cannot be safely tumble-dried when using a Samsung washing machine, as they may deform even at low temperatures.
- Dust can accumulate on the rubber gasket during washing and especially during drying, so make sure to clean it after drying.
Be cautious of the door temperature after the drying cycle
- The temperature rises during drying, and a well-vented washing machine door should be partially or fully opened when finished. The door can be opened after waiting for 30-45 minutes.
Exercise caution with high temperatures after the completion of the drying cycle.
- If you receive a temperature alert inside the washing drum, it means it's too hot. Allow the washing machine to wait for 30 minutes, then open the door when it has cooled down.
- Please note that metal components attached to the laundry may also become hot.
