Guinaifen's Abilities

At first glance at Guinaifen's skill set, Honkai: Star Rail players often think of building her to accompany Kafka. Indeed, Guinaifen has the ability to inflict various Fire Damage Over Time (DOT) effects that Kafka needs to unleash her life-stealing capabilities.

However, Guinaifen's usefulness doesn't just stop at being Kafka's 'accessory'. Furthermore, if you prioritize critical rate, attack, accuracy, Guinaifen can become quite fragile and hard to survive in boss battles. Without top-tier team protectors like Gepard, Luocha, Fu Xuan (and potentially Huohuo in the future), players may sometimes have to sacrifice Guinaifen's damage output to invest in survival stats to avoid 'sudden death' situations, especially in the final stages of Memorial Arena.

Artifact Builds for Guinaifen

The first thing to remember is that Guinaifen needs 67% accuracy to achieve a 100% debuff success rate, but this is not absolute. You can stop at 43% and invest more in damage or survival stats and still have a very high success rate.

• 2x Fireforge Duskstone + 2x Ricestraw Sharps: The best option for Guinaifen currently with its ability to increase DOT damage and not requiring extensive farming.
• 4x Ricestraw Sharps: The most economical choice for Guinaifen as players usually have a large amount of these artifacts. The speed stats it provides are highly suitable for a support-oriented character like Guinaifen.
• 2x Fireforge Duskstone + 2x Spatial Seraph's Herald: Similar effect to the 2x Ricestraw Sharps option, but somewhat harder to farm. Should only be used if you have good Spatial Seraph pieces available.
• Interstellar Conglomerate: Provides the 10% accuracy Guinaifen needs while also boosting attack stats.
• Galactic Seal Station: 24% attack is always beneficial for Guinaifen, and farming it is efficient when paired with the Ageless Xianzhou set.
