2. Registering and Using Facebook Messenger Kids

IOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/messenger-kids/id1285713171
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.facebook.talk&hl=vi

Step 1: After downloading and installing, open the application to use. Facebook Messenger Kids will provide a series of notifications that you need to confirm. These notifications are shared in Vietnamese, so make sure to read them to understand the software's functions and uses better!

Step 2: Next, log in with your own Facebook account to have control over Facebook Messenger Kids. Once logged in, select Authorize Device to allow the child to use that mobile device.
Once Authorize Device is completed, you need to set up a Name for the Child and click Continue to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Then, set the child's date of birth. Finally, Facebook will share with you what Facebook Messenger Kids will do when you use them. These are personal information, so make sure to understand them well.
If you agree to Facebook's terms, you can only Create an Account.

Step 4: Once the account is completed, proceed to find friends for your child because your child cannot add friends. If you don't know your child's friends or their parents, you can skip this step as it can be added later.
Next, you can add another guardian for the child such as: father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, aunt, uncle, etc. This setting depends on your personal needs. Guardians have the same access rights as you.

Step 5: For children, making friends can be difficult, so you can create keywords for them to find each other. Finally, you will receive a software introduction terms notification, which you can skip as it is not essential.

Step 6: Finally, choose the color scheme for the Facebook Messenger Kids interface to complete the setup. You will then be taken to the main interface of Facebook Messenger Kids.
Here, children will see the friends you added in Step 4. Besides these friends, children cannot message anyone else.

Step 5: To add more friends for the child, select New and then Add Friend. Next, enter the name or friend code of your child's friends to add them.

So basically, you have set up the Facebook Messenger Kids account for your child.
