Step 1: Firstly, if you have an old Mainboard, it certainly does not automatically Disable the onboard Card. Therefore, you need to go to BIOS or Driver Manager to Disable this Onboard Card.
- Right-click on Computer and select Manage
- A new window appears, go to Device Manager, look to the right, find Display adapter, Select the onboard card in use, right-click and select Disable
Step 2: Turn off the computer. Insert the VGA card into the computer slot PCI Express x16 slot. Check the information of your VGA card, and download and install the driver.

Step 3: Go to Device Manager to check if the VGA card is available. If not, check for updates, and check if the onboard card is disabled. Then restart the computer.
