This article provides detailed instructions on how to remove PDF passwords using the Smallpdf.com website.
Step 1: Visit the website https://smallpdf.com/unlock-pdf.
You can choose the source file from your computer, Dropbox, or Google Drive. In this example, we'll select the source file from the computer.
Step 2: Click on File to choose a file from your computer. A dialog box will appear for selecting the file you want to unlock -> Open.
Step 3: After selecting your file, it will be uploaded to the web. Check the box -> Click Unlock PDF.
Step 4: The file has been unlocked. Here, you can download the file to your computer or to Dropbox or Google Drive according to your preference. Here, I'll choose to download it to my computer for convenience -> Click Download file now.
During the unlocking process, if an error occurs, click Restart. Upon completion, the file will be downloaded with a distinct name from the source file. Now, you just need to open that file without entering a password.
