StepsSend Your Name to Mars
Add your name to NASA's database for a chance to send it to Mars on an upcoming mission. While the mission's schedule is currently uncertain, your name could journey to the red planet in the future.
Enter your first and last name. Both fields are mandatory, but you can use an alias. Rest assured, only NASA will have access to this information.
Choose your country. Simply click on the drop-down menu labeled 'COUNTRY' and select your country of residence. This step is compulsory.
Fill in your postal/ZIP code. This information is required, so click on the 'POSTAL CODE' box and enter your code.
Provide your email address. Although optional, it's recommended. Having your email allows you to retrieve your boarding pass or access your frequent flyer account.
Choose whether you want to subscribe to NASA's Newsletter. NASA regularly sends out newsletters containing the latest space news and updates. If you're interested, check the box. If not, make sure it remains unchecked.
Click on 'SEND MY NAME TO MARS' button. This action will officially register your name to be sent on the next mission to Mars. You'll also receive an image of your boarding pass which you can save or print. Note that you might need to complete a CAPTCHA.
Helpful TipsYou can enhance your experience by uploading a photo of yourself to the
