Master the art of sketching ninja throwing stars (also known as shurikens) with these straightforward steps! Let's get started!
Instructions
Four-Point Shuriken (Ninja Star)
Start by drawing a circle in the center of the page.
Sketch a curvy vertical line passing through the circle's center. Duplicate this line horizontally, ensuring it intersects the vertical line at the circle's midpoint.
Emphasize these lines, excluding the segments inside the circle.
Link the outermost ends of these lines with a line resembling an elongated Roman numeral two (2). Repeat this pattern until all ends are joined.
Eliminate unnecessary lines. Incorporate a curved line within the circle for a 3D effect.
Apply the desired colors to the illustration (preferably metallic shades).
Hexagonal Shuriken (Ninja Star)
Sketch a circle at the page's center.
Sketch three straight lines of equal length, each intersecting at the circle's center. Ensure the tips of these lines are equidistant from one another, resembling spokes of a wheel.
Outline a slightly larger outer circle (without extending beyond the lines), maintaining the same center as the others.
Using the new circle, draw three lines intersecting within it (also centered on the smaller circle). Ensure these shorter lines are evenly spaced between the longer ones.
From the end of any long line, sketch straight diagonal lines outward towards the outer circle. Connect these lines to others from different ends via a U-shaped curve in between.
Remove unnecessary lines. Enhance the lines for a sharper appearance.
Add shading. Apply color to the drawing as desired (preferably metallic hues).
