Utilizing Zenmap. Upon downloading nmap, you'll also get 'Zenmap GUI.' Open it and input the target computer's IP address in the designated box. Select 'Intense scan' from the profile menu. Watch as the program scans for open ports. If port 23 is open without a password, the device is vulnerable.

Launch Telnet. For Windows, access Telnet by clicking Start -> Run (or Windows Key + R) and typing telnet in the provided box. This will open a Telnet interface.

In the Telnet interface, input 'o IPAddressHere PortNumber'.

Use the IP address where port 23 was found open. If you don't specify a port number, it will default to 23. Press enter to establish the connection.

Experiment with the connected device. Essentially, play around with the system at this point.
