Since the introduction of the iPhone Xr series, it has consistently been accompanied by the 'eSIM fever' - the electronic SIM. In light of this interest, Viettel network recently announced the successful adoption and activation of eSIM in Vietnam. Therefore, in preparation for this new milestone, Mytour.com will guide you on how to set up and use eSIM on your iPhone.

Step 1: Always keep your device connected to Wi-Fi during the setup to ensure the phone downloads the eSIM Profile. Go to 'Settings,' select the 'Cellular' option, and tap on 'Add Cellular Plan.'
Step 2: At this point, the device will prompt you to scan the QR code. Simply hold the QR code provided by the network in front of the camera lens.
Step 3: The SIM profile will be automatically downloaded to your device. After the download is complete, press the 'Add Cellular Plan' button to finish.
Step 4: The 'Secondary' section will automatically switch to 'Activating' status. Wait for a moment as the device runs the activation process.
Once activated, the eSIM will function like a physical SIM we commonly use. It can make calls and connect to the network as usual. The eSIM setup steps are also straightforward.
