Seat Selection Based on Ticket Class:

Premium Economy (R/L/P/S/T): Complimentary selection of standard seats.

Economy Flexi (Y/B/E): Complimentary selection of standard and forward seats.

Economy Standard (M/H/W): Complimentary selection of standard seats.

Economy Value (Q/N) and Economy Lite (V/K): Seat selection is chargeable.

However, starting from 30/10/2023, passengers booking Economy Value (Q/N) tickets will enjoy free selection of standard seats, applicable for all flights departing from 01/04/2024 onwards.

To ensure priority for customers purchasing tickets in Economy Standard (M/H/W) and Economy Flexi (Y/B/E), the airline will limit the number of standard seats that Economy Value (Q/N) can pre-select.

Seat selection time: during check-in procedures and up to 48 hours before departure.

Types of Economy seats:

Extra Legroom Seat

Adding a bit more space brings a significant difference. The Extra Legroom seat provides additional legroom and a wider gap between rows for increased comfort.

Both Economy and Premium Economy offer this seat option, starting at a price of 25 USD.

Forward Zone Seat

Seats in the forward zone are close to the exit, allowing you to be among the first to disembark. You can pre-select these seats for free when booking flexible fare types.

When booking Economy Lite or Economy Standard fares, you can pre-select seats in the forward zone with fees starting from 8 USD per segment.

Standard Seat

All seats in Economy class, excluding the forward zone or extra legroom area, are standard seats. You can choose standard seats for free when booking standard or flexible fare types, or when traveling with children or infants.

When booking Lite fare types, you can pre-select standard seats with fees starting from 5 USD per segment.

Pre-selection fee:

The fee amount will depend on the type of seat chosen and the corresponding fare group of the flight. Fees are calculated per passenger and per flight.

Group 4: between Singapore and Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom; between the United States and Germany, Hong Kong – China, Japan, the United Kingdom, and Taiwan – China.

Group 5: between Singapore and the United States.

Premium Economy Class Seat Selection Fee

Passengers with Economy class tickets can also choose seats in Premium Economy (standard seats and extra legroom seats) for a fee, only on select flights and routes: between Singapore and Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Surabaya, Colombo, Dhaka, and Guangzhou.

Group 1: between Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Kuala Lumpur, and Surabaya.

Group 2: between Colombo, Dhaka, and Guangzhou.
