Gumayusi displays abundant ambitions in the re-signing process with T1.
As known recently, all T1 players have successfully extended their contracts, achieving a historic milestone for the team. They now stand as the only roster in SKT T1/T1 history since 2013-2014 to continue competing in the LCK after winning the Worlds. Additionally, Zeus becomes the longest-serving Top Laner, surpassing legends like MaRin, Duke, and Khan.

Notably, according to Wolf, former Support turned T1 streamer, he was surprised that all the younger players chose to re-sign. Wolf explained that T1's salary offer to players was considerably lower than offers from other major teams in the LCK/LPL. There were even rumors that Zeus turned down a 6.3 billion offer from the LPL to stay with T1.

However, it's only Gumayusi who genuinely shares the reason for his decision to re-sign with T1. He states: 'My next goal is to build a new dynasty at T1. The first time I re-signed was to prove something, and this time it's different because we just won Worlds. So the goal now is to establish a new dynasty at T1. First, surpass Bang, who already has more Worlds trophies than me. After that, surpass Faker, surpass his career, and I will work diligently to achieve that.'

Clearly, Gumayusi remains the same, a person filled with confidence and ambition. In the current AD Carry position, Gumayusi can confidently say that he doesn't lag behind anyone. Regarding his character and competitive spirit, Gumayusi has demonstrated that he is indeed a reliable support when Faker is absent or going through a rough patch in form.

Certainly, Faker's career is the greatest in League of Legends history. Not just Gumayusi, but many before him have 'conceded' in their attempts to surpass the 'Demon King.' However, it's quite possible that Gumayusi won't need to surpass anyone but forge his own path to construct a new dynasty for T1, aligning with his true aspirations.
