Gumayusi has shared insights on how T1 can clinch the LCK Summer 2023 championship title.
Every new season, players from top-tier teams like Gen.G and T1 are expected to claim titles and deliver captivating matches to the audience. However, these expectations sometimes become burdensome, weighing heavily on the minds of young players.

Throughout many past seasons, T1 has faced numerous challenges on their quest for titles. Since Spring 2022, T1 has come up empty-handed in all fronts they've competed in, up until LCK Summer 2023. Notably, T1 has lost 4 out of 5 domestic and international finals. This has led to significant disappointment among T1 fans, especially when one of their rivals, DRX, emerged victorious - a bitter pill to swallow for LCK.
Due to this reason, even a confident player like Gumayusi feels the weight of pressure. The 2002-born Marksman for T1 has predicted a potential disbandment if the team continues to come up short this season. Recently, Gumayusi also shared insights on how T1 could secure titles, prompting much contemplation among viewers.

In jest, Gumayusi half-jokingly remarked: 'If you think this season is tough, well, it certainly is. But hey, we're T1. We've lost one game, but we're still just 'T1 in groups.' We're not yet 'T1 in knockout rounds.' How dare you mention the word 'difficult.' Previously, we talked about 'T1 in knockout rounds,' but now it's just 'T1 in groups.' Or should we try playing poorly? We perform poorly for a bit, rank 6th in groups, then emerge as champions. As long as we win the championship, all issues will be resolved. Because standing 1st or 2nd in groups and then coming up empty-handed is worse than ranking 6th and then becoming champions.'

However, Gumayusi's observations have garnered agreement from fans. Clearly, T1 has consistently performed well throughout the group stage until the semifinals. But when it comes to the finals, T1 players seem to lose themselves. This has led to T1 coming up empty-handed in recent seasons.

If T1 can maintain a relaxed mindset, they will undoubtedly remain top contenders for the championship title. And perhaps, if T1 doesn't easily secure victories in the group stage or knockout rounds, they will gain more experience, prepare more meticulously to end their streak of coming up empty-handed.
