In the finals of the 2023 Worlds, Riot separately recorded over 800k views from VCS at its peak. Combined with the performances of Team Whales and GAM Esports, VCS made a definite impression at the biggest tournament of 2023 in the LoL scene.
For T1, it's not until now that VCS fans have made a significant impact. In reality, T1 players frequently showcase gifts received from the Vietnamese LoL community, or interact in Vietnamese with fans and players from VCS on their streams. Individuals like Keria and Gumayusi often proudly display gifts from VCS fans, further elevating the pride of Vietnamese viewers.
Recently on his streaming channel, Gumayusi not only interacts but also presents a special 'gift' to VCS fans. Specifically, during his stream, Gumayusi sends greetings to VCS fans: 'Thank you, Vietnam (fans). I will visit Vietnam in the future. See you there!'
Gumayusi's sharing truly sparks enthusiasm among many VCS fans for a day when T1 players can actually visit Vietnam. At the end of the 2023 season, T1 also embarked on a tour combined with a small fan meeting in Germany, sponsored by RedBull. However, that time was when the season had concluded and players could rest, so T1 could arrange their 'show runs' schedule. According to many opinions, the feasible time for these activities can only be at the end of the season, when the tournaments have ended.
Certainly, meeting and interacting with T1 players, in particular, or any LoL star worldwide, is not overly complicated. But T1 is the most accomplished team, with the greatest allure in the LoL community, making scheduling with them certainly not easy. However, the goodwill of VCS fans has reached the players, and the T1 superstars greatly appreciate it.
