In the latest 'Power On' newsletter, Gurman explains that the new Apple Pencil with USB-C will debut before the next iPad refresh in the following spring. He further states that Apple has been working on the 11th, 7th, and 6th generation iPads for some time now. However, these are not expected to appear soon.
New iPad Scheduled for March 2024 ReleaseGurman reveals that 'The Cupertino Company' has scheduled the launch of their new iPads for March next year, with the likelihood of at least 3 models in this product line being introduced to users. The next generation is also expected to arrive in the following spring, although for now, we can only be certain that smaller and more affordable iPad models will be introduced.
Gurman also predicts that the first-generation Apple Pencil will cease production alongside the 9th generation iPad in the near future. This is due to the absence of any new iPads from Apple with Lightning chargers at that time. However, Apple's plan will not come into effect soon.
