Gurman: New Magic Keyboard Design Set to Launch Alongside iPad Pro 2024

According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple's next-generation iPad Pro will debut alongside a redesigned Magic Keyboard accessory, aiming to make the device more like a laptop.

In the latest 'Power On' newsletter, Gurman stated that the next-generation Pro will be the first major update for the product since 2018, introducing 'fundamental changes'. The new models, codenamed 'J717', 'J718', 'J720', and 'J721', will feature M3 OLED silicon chips and 11-inch, 13-inch size options.

New Magic Keyboard Design to Debut Alongside iPad Pro 2024

Alongside size and feature changes, the 2024 iPad Pro lineup will introduce a new Magic Keyboard accessory with upgraded design. It's expected to have a larger trackpad, addressing user criticisms of the current version and making the iPad Pro resemble a laptop more closely.

The 2024 iPad Pro and the new Magic Keyboard are not expected to launch until spring or early summer 2024. However, Apple may introduce new versions of its other iPad lines to users in the meantime. The 2024 iPad Pro lineup is expected to boost Apple's sluggish sales in the coming year.
