Valve reveals that the game now includes Half-Life Uplink, originally a 'small campaign' only found on magazine CD-ROMs and hardware manufacturer discs. There are four maps for multiplayer mode. Additionally, Valve adds maps and character models from the CD-ROM mode named Half-Life: More Data.

Valve also introduces several new settings, such as widescreen FOV feature and support for 'appropriate gamepad configuration.' The game's user interface has been updated to expand on larger screens.
