Vietnam's stunning landscapes, along with renowned landmarks like Bali, Everest, and Santorini, are among the world's top photogenic destinations. Surprisingly, Detroit and London are rated as the least photogenic destinations in the world.
The website VeryFirstTo has just released a list of the most and least photogenic destinations in the world. This survey gathered opinions from 701 affluent travelers who have visited many places.
The top photogenic destinations according to the survey are Halong Bay (Vietnam), the paradise of Bora Bora (France), the Great Barrier Reef (Australia), the Grand Canyon (USA), Bali (Indonesia), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Mount Everest (Nepal), Petra (Jordan), Torres del Paine (Chile), Plain Of Temples (Myanmar), Santorini (Greece), and the Maldives.
Additionally, the website lists the least photogenic destinations in the world. Topping this list is the city of Detroit, USA. London, the capital of England, comes second. Many readers express surprise at London's inclusion in this list as it boasts numerous famous landmarks and beautiful natural scenery.
Marcel Knobil, the founder of the website VeryFirstTo, stated that he personally believes London is a fantastic city in the world. However, this survey gathers opinions from others. Those surveyed have visited London to some extent and have recognized its shortcomings.
Marcel also explains why Detroit is considered less photogenic. The city is facing economic pressures leading to increased unemployment. Buildings and factories in the city are no longer receiving much attention, and slum areas are growing.
