Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air have proposed handling measures for flights amidst severe flooding in Hue to provide more convenience for passengers.
Handling Measures for Hue Flooding by Domestic Airlines

With the severe flooding situation in Hue, many areas are deeply submerged, causing difficulties in reaching the airport for scheduled flights. Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air have provided handling measures for flights to/from Hue, with detailed information as follows:
1. Scope of Application
Vietjet Air: all flights to/from Hue until November 17, 2023.
Vietnam Airlines: Flights from Hue until November 18, 2023.
2. Handling Measures
Vietjet Air
– Free date change for flights to and from Hue until November 24, 2023, without fare difference.
– Free itinerary change for flights to and from Da Nang/Quang Binh until November 24, 2023, without fare difference.
– Free indefinite name change valid for 365 days from the first flight departure date.
Vietnam Airlines
– Free date change: applies once free of charge and without restrictions, with the new departure date on or before November 22, 2023.
– Itinerary change:
- Itinerary change within the domestic route group at equivalent fare. Contact Mytour staff via hotline (028) 3933 8008 for assistance.
- Itinerary change outside the domestic route group at equivalent fare: applies once free of charge and without restrictions, with the new departure date on or before November 22, 2023. Fare difference, taxes/fees (if any) apply.
