2 simple ways to request Viettel messages, easy to perform
To send messages when your Viettel network subscription is out of credit, you can use one of the following two methods:
1. Request Viettel messages using the Call me back service
When your Viettel network subscription runs out of credit and you cannot make calls or send messages to another subscription (within or outside Viettel network), you can use the Call me back service to send a message to the recipient subscription and request them to call you back.
Syntax for sending messages is as follows:
'098xxxxxxx_Customer's Name' send to 9119
Where:
- 098xxxxxxx is the phone number of the person to call back
- And the customer's name is your name
Example: If you wish to send a message to the subscriber 0349703860 to request a call back for the subscriber Phuong, you can compose the message as follows: '0349703860_phuong' send to 9119
With valid call back requests through the 9119 system, you will be exempt from 100% of the message charges. However, to be able to use the Call me back service, your Viettel subscription needs to meet the following conditions:
- The Call me back service applies only to prepaid Viettel subscriptions that have not been locked in both directions.
- Each Viettel subscription can only use a maximum of 3 messages from Viettel's Call back me service per top-up (no distinction between on-network/off-network).
- The length of the message sent to the 9119 center must not exceed 20 characters.
