It's quite unfortunate that the Amazfit Balance still opts for the traditional 2-pin magnetic charger instead of embracing wireless magnetic charging, a feature found in some other watches within the same category. Nevertheless, this charging dock allows for swift maneuvers; simply align it accurately, and the magnets will autonomously engage, initiating the charging process for the watch.

As of now, the version I have in my hands is the Gray variant with a nylon strap. If this doesn't appeal to you, there's the option of the Black version with a silicone strap, exuding a more robust and sporty aura.
Shifting back to the watch itself, from my personal perspective, the Amazfit Balance boasts a design slightly reminiscent of classic styles. However, it still emanates a certain modernity, making it suitable for the vast majority of users.

In terms of overall design, the Amazfit Balance is crafted with an extremely sturdy aluminum alloy frame. Additionally, the meticulous diamond-cut edges on the watch face contribute to an overall look that is undeniably premium and elegant.

On the front side, you'll be greeted by a spacious 1.5-inch display utilizing a vibrant AMOLED panel with intensely deep black hues. The 480x480 pixel resolution ensures an exceptionally sharp and clear screen.

To add to its charm, the screen bezel is remarkably thin. It's truly noticeable when the watch face is white, and although a bit subtle, it remains discernible even with a black face—showcasing a design feature that's both sleek and sophisticated.
On the right side of the watch, we find two additional function buttons. Positioned at the top is a rotating knob, also serving as a back button, allowing rotation instead of swiping on the screen. Below, there's a customizable function button, preset to access the workout mode, but you can assign other functions to it.

Just below these two buttons is the location of the built-in microphone for voice recording on the watch.

On the left side of the Amazfit Balance, the speaker system is arranged along with another microphone for audio capture. Despite having such a large speaker range, there's no need to worry about water exposure as the Amazfit Balance is water-resistant up to 5ATM. If it gets wet, simply activate the speaker cleaning mode.

As for the back panel, it's crafted from metal rather than plastic, setting it apart from some cheaper models. This makes the watch slightly heavier but more robust and durable. The sensor cluster in the middle doesn't protrude too much, ensuring comfort during prolonged wear.

Speaking of the strap, personally, I adore this type of design—both aesthetically pleasing and convenient. The strap's width is just right at 22mm, making it suitable for the majority of wrists in our Asian community.

Now, let's delve into the internal features, starting with the operations on the main screen. In my opinion, the Zepp OS 3.0 interface on the Amazfit Balance is designed with great intuitiveness, presenting a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.

Specifically, swiping down the screen reveals the quick controls, swiping up allows you to check notifications, and swiping right or left lets you access pre-installed widgets. These widgets can be easily customized through the Zepp app on your phone.

In terms of features, the Amazfit Balance is equipped with essential smartwatch functionalities, including heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level measurement (SpO2), sleep tracking, stress measurement, and more.

Furthermore, the Amazfit Balance boasts a range of sophisticated features such as body composition analysis (similar to the Galaxy Watch), Zepp Coach AI for workout assistance, Wellness feature for sleep analysis, Zepp Aura for enhanced sleep quality, and more.

For workouts, the Amazfit Balance supports over 150 different exercise modes, including walking, outdoor running, swimming, jump rope, yoga, and numerous other workout modes.
The Amazfit Balance is also equipped with independent Dual-Band GPS integrated with smart navigation, aiding in accurate distance tracking for activities like running and providing better insights for future workouts.

To fully utilize the features of the Amazfit Balance, syncing with your phone is essential. The Amazfit Balance can be connected to your phone through the Zepp app, available on both Google Play and the App Store. With its straightforward interface, setting up the watch with Zepp takes just a few minutes.

Through the Zepp app, you can personalize your watch face with a variety of unique designs, track activities, and install additional utility apps. In general, there's a lot you can customize within this app, and I'll go into specifics in the review.
Finally, let's talk about the battery. The Amazfit Balance boasts a hefty 475mAh battery, offering up to 14 days of usage with high activity levels and potentially extending to 25 days in power-saving mode. Additionally, it supports water resistance up to 5ATM, making it safe for handwashing or wearing in the rain without concerns about damage.

I've had hands-on experience with the Amazfit Balance, highlighting numerous commendable aspects. Priced at just 5.59 million VND, you can acquire a watch with luxurious, eye-catching design, impressive battery life, and notably, a plethora of useful features that contribute to your overall health.
For those in search of a feature-rich smartwatch, this is an option that shouldn't be overlooked.
