The Intel Core i7-12700H 12th Gen on ROG Flow Z13 features 14 cores, including 6 high-performance cores and 8 power-efficient cores, with a maximum clock speed of up to 4.7 GHz.

Source: ASUS.The 12th Gen Intel Core processors utilize an entirely new architecture with a hybrid design combining high-performance Performance-cores (P-cores) and power-efficient cores (E-cores). This allows the machine to balance performance and battery life better. This is crucial for a 2-in-1 laptop like ROG Flow Z13 as it features a slim and light design, and users will engage in a variety of tasks from graphic work, gaming to basic daily tasks.

This feature allows users to switch between 2 modes: using the discrete graphics card or using iGPU to save battery. We can customize the MUX Switch feature with just a button in the Armoury Crate software that comes with it, and I highly appreciate this simplicity because I can easily and quickly choose between maximum performance or optimized battery life according to my needs.

At a glance, few would believe that the ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming laptop with powerful specs inside. The machine is only 12 mm thick and weighs 1.18 kg. With all components arranged behind the screen, ROG FLOW Z13 supports various gaming methods. In traditional gaming mode, ROG Flow Z13 can connect to a keyboard with a protective cover for the screen and function as a true gaming laptop.

The integrated trackpad on this keyboard is also quite large and covered with glass, providing a smooth and precise swiping and tapping experience.

I've also tried playing FIFA 22 with a controller on ROG Flow Z13 and had a quite enjoyable experience. In my opinion, this playing style would be suitable when a group of friends plays together.
