Unboxing the BenQ GV30: What's Inside?
I was pleasantly surprised by the equipment packed inside the BenQ GV30. It comes neatly stored in a compact shockproof case along with basic accessories such as: User manual, remote, charger, stand, and various cables. The core value of the BenQ GV30 lies in its convenience and versatility. Looking at the overall equipment that the GV30 possesses, it's evident that this is indeed a perfect design for use at home or to take along on trips with friends and family.

Hands-on with BenQ GV30: Sleek Design, Unique Wheel Shape
BenQ GV30 is crafted from sturdy plastic material with an added matte layer on top, helping to reduce scratches and maintain a clean, elegant appearance for the device. Additionally, the BenQ GV30 boasts a cylindrical design, resembling a wheel, making it relatively compact and visually appealing with a weight of only 1.6 kg. In the current projector market, I can confidently say that the design of the BenQ GV30 is truly unique. Personally, I highly appreciate the creativity in design that BenQ has implemented for the GV30.

During usage, the mini projector BenQ GV30 will be placed on an integrated magnetic base stand, ensuring the device stays in place during usage. This design also allows us to easily slide the device up or down to adjust the image to suit our viewing angle. If you are concerned about scratching the device while rotating on the magnetic stand, rest assured, the matte paint layer will be responsible for protecting the device from scratches and helping the GV30 rotate smoothly on the stand.

A standout feature of the BenQ GV30 is its combination of a magnetic base stand with a wheel-shaped cylindrical design, allowing you to rotate and adjust the frame up to 135 degrees, to view from various angles. For those who often watch movies before bedtime, the BenQ GV30 will be a perfect device to help you relax right in bed thanks to its rotating capability and ability to project images directly onto the ceiling!

BenQ GV30 boasts a sleek matte white color. The two side panels feature two large speakers accented with circular black outlines, looking incredibly eye-catching. On the top edge are the third speaker and the protruding lens, along with physical buttons such as the power button, Bluetooth pairing button, and volume controls. Not only that, but the BenQ GV30 is also equipped with a leather strap for easy grip and convenient transportation.

BenQ GV30's Projection Capability Excels in Low-Light Environments with HD Resolution
BenQ GV30 features an Osram LED lamp, providing a projection screen size ranging from 30 to 120 inches depending on your viewing distance. According to the manufacturer's recommendation, it's best to use a screen size between 80 and 100 inches for the best image quality. Additionally, BenQ GV30 also has Auto Focus and Auto Keystone features to quickly adjust focus, and you can use the remote to customize settings according to your preferences instead of manually adjusting like other projectors.

In terms of display image quality, BenQ GV30 delivers HD resolution images (1280 x 720 pixels) with a brightness of 300 ANSI Lumens. Personally, I find these features quite impressive, sufficient for home movie watching or entertainment gatherings with friends. Moreover, the HD resolution of BenQ GV30 produces high-quality and sharp images!

Not stopping there, according to the manufacturer's specifications, BenQ GV30 also boasts a Contrast Ratio (FOFO) of 100,000:1 and a display color depth of 24-bit (16.7 million colors), which is quite high compared to other products in the same price range. Additionally, GV30 is equipped with various viewing modes such as Cinema, Sports, Game,... allowing you to customize based on your preferences and needs.

BenQ GV30 features 16 GB of storage and a large battery
With BenQ GV30, you can watch movies or listen to music directly without the need to connect to other devices, thanks to being equipped with Android TV 9.0. However, if you want to use the popular Netflix platform, unfortunately, this app is not available on BenQ GV30, and if you want to use it, you have to switch to BenQ's app management system, then install Netflix. This is also the reason why BenQ has equipped GV30 with 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal memory so you can store apps and movies on the device!

Another convenience feature that BenQ GV30 possesses is its ability to operate on rechargeable battery, which is something I personally love because it's extremely convenient for outdoor trips. According to the manufacturer, this battery will allow BenQ GV30 to continuously project for 2.5 hours on a single charge.

BenQ GV30 offers flexible connectivity along with vibrant sound
Furthermore, BenQ GV30 can connect to smart devices such as phones, laptops, etc., via Bluetooth or various ports including HDMI 1.4b, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack located on the back of the device. Overall, BenQ GV30 boasts incredibly flexible connectivity options in various forms, allowing you to use it easily and conveniently.

As I mentioned earlier about using BenQ GV30 for entertainment by listening to music and watching movies, it's because BenQ GV30 is not just a projector but also a mini speaker with incredibly vibrant sound.

Equipped with a 2.1 audio system provided by two 4W tweeters and one 8W subwoofer, promising to deliver crisp highs and deep bass for the most immersive experience during usage. It can be said that combining a projector and a speaker will be the next convenience point for BenQ GV30!

How much does BenQ GV30 cost? Is it worth buying?
If you're looking for a projector with attractive features like sleek design, good projection capability, vibrant sound, rechargeable battery usage, and focusing on the core value of convenience, then BenQ GV30 is a device you shouldn't overlook. In the Vietnamese market, BenQ GV30 is sold for around 14 - 15 million Vietnamese Dong, which I find quite reasonable for what this projector brings.
