General Information about Hands-on with Budget-Friendly: Petkit 2-in-1 Clippers - An Amazing Tet Gift for Your Furry Pal
Hello everyone, it's been a while. With some free time during Tet and to celebrate being one of the Top 3 Tech Content Creators at Mytour, I decided to write a quick hands-on piece to stay connected with the craft 😁
This time's product is the Petkit 2-in-1 Clippers specifically designed for our furry friends, with versatile interchangeable heads for trimming both full-body fur and those tricky paw areas. I've had it for a while but only just got around to trying it out.
Previously, I had bought a small pink trimmer for around 100K VND but it was terrible - weak battery, quick to overheat, and dull blades, making grooming uncomfortable for my pet, resulting in jerky movements and potential accidents. For full-body grooming, I used the Enchen clippers, which weren't optimal and were difficult to handle. So, the Petkit clippers can be seen as the perfect replacement.
Technical specifications as provided by the manufacturer:
✅ IPX7 Waterproof
✅ Low vibration and noise level (approximately 45db)
✅ 2 cutting heads meet the trimming needs of various body parts
✅ High-quality steel blades ensure long-lasting and durable use
✅ Rounded R-shaped contact blades specially designed to not harm the skin, making it easy for beginners to handle
✅ Rated power: DC 5V 1A
✅ Full charge time: 5 hours
✅ Continuous usage time: 1 hour
Things I Like
- The product is well-crafted with meticulous finishing, minimal excess plastic parts.
- The pure white color is visually appealing, inspiring for users.
- Specifically designed for pets, so it's optimized for trimming, especially in tricky areas like the paw pads. Gives a confident cutting experience without worrying about cutting into the flesh.
- The device stays pleasantly warm even after extended use, never getting hot, especially around the metal cutting head for trimming paw pads. Compared to the pink device I bought before, it's like night and day - that one would heat up with just a little use.
- The battery performance is excellent, handling both full-body trimming and the four paws smoothly.
- The price is quite reasonable for a love affair, somewhere around 220-270k. I was lucky to have a birthday discount code which saved me hundreds more.

Things I Didn't Like
- Honestly, I'm really pleased so there's nothing I dislike. If I had to nitpick, maybe the charging port position at 8 is slightly inconvenient, but the battery lasts so long that I rarely need to charge it, so it's not a big deal.
Should You Buy It?
Highly recommended for those with small to medium-sized furry friends, considering the low price and decent performance. I suggest taking care of your pet yourself if possible, rather than relying too much on spas. Occasional grooming sessions at the spa are fine, but it's essential to understand that pets can be psychologically affected by spa visits, and not all spas are trustworthy.Thank you for reading, everyone! Wishing you all good health and luck in the Year of the Tiger 2022 :3
Got a whole set of toys for the furry buddy. Bought the Black+Decker mainly for tidying up fur and hair 😆
