The device measures 77.47 x 57.4 x 18.9 cm and weighs 14.8 Kg, not exactly lightweight but sufficient for users to place, carry, and transport in various locations. Its overall exterior is quite simple, optimized for maximum portability without any unnecessary details.
The device is finished with a sturdy outer shell made from verified materials meeting US military standards for durability, including shock resistance, good heat resistance, and dust resistance.

Surrounding the StandbyME Go, there aren't too many details. On the top edge of the device, we find two locking clasps and a handle made of plastic, along with an infrared sensor to receive commands from the remote.

On the bottom edge, we have basic connection ports such as USB-A, HDMI, and an IR Blaster port, all sealed with rubber buttons to resist water and dust.
Upon opening, we're greeted with a rather large 27-inch screen (equivalent to some current desktop computer monitors), perfect for users and their friends to enjoy watching together.
Below the screen lies the compartment for the remote control. Opening the box beneath reveals the device's charging cable.
Next to the screen, we find 3 function buttons for adjusting volume.

Similar to a TV, the LG StandbyME remote integrates all necessary volume control buttons, device control, and numerous shortcuts to open various viewing applications.

You can see that the StandbyME GO screen is connected to the suitcase by a sturdy black metal base powder-coated, providing a smooth, seamless experience when lifting, lowering, folding, and rotating the screen at any angle of 180 degrees, 90 degrees, 45 degrees,... Incredibly flexible.

I find this stand to be highly stable, with minimal vibration or shifting when touching or swiping on the screen.

Returning to the screen, LG has equipped this 27-inch screen with a touch-sensitive LCD panel, FullHD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). Using the α7 AI Processor Gen5 chip, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG (2K).

With all these specifications, the LG StandbyME Go is sure to provide users with an outstanding entertainment experience, offering crisp, lifelike displays for standout movie viewing.

LG offers us 8 picture modes (Vivid, Standard, Eco, Cinema, Sports, Game, (ISF)Expert(Bright Room), (ISF)Expert(Dark Room)). StandbyME Go has a 60Hz refresh rate, sufficient for smooth touchscreen interactions.

The lid of the LG StandbyME Go houses 4 20W speakers, supporting Dolby Atmos. I must say the device's speakers are impressively loud, delivering clear sound whether in meeting rooms, living rooms, or outdoor campsites, parks.

LG StandbyME Go also supports various interesting applications and features such as chess, some board games.

The relaxation window feature helps us chill with white noise, fireplace images, scenes of the beach, ocean, and more.
The device runs on webOS 22 operating system, supporting voice control and comes with various apps including: TV, Netflix, Max, Paramount+, Disney+, Prime Video, Spotify, Youtube TV. You can also download more from the device's app store.

LG StandbyME GO supports Airplay for content sharing from iPhone, Mac, or through LG's app for convenient presentation purposes.

With the inherent mobility and flexibility of LG StandbyME Go, this would be a suitable device for outdoor presentations, BBQ parties, or as an auxiliary device for interaction in offline meetings or teaching purposes, which is a clever idea.

If I owned it, I'd pair the LG StandbyME Go with a PS5 for outdoor entertainment with friends, or for watching football matches with buddies on the rooftop or in the garden, for example.

According to LG, the StanbyME Go has a usage time of up to 3 hours, sufficient for watching movies or presenting content. I think for extended camping trips, it may not meet the demand.
