1. Hands-On with Nokia 8: A Plethora of Emotions and Exceptional User Experience
Just got my hands on Nokia 8 not too long ago, and @vyvy1908's quick review just surfaced recently. But I can't help but share with you guys my feelings when using Nokia 8.

Touching the device brings back a lot of memories, reminding me of the splendid Lumia 925 back in the day. And when the notification sound rings, I know Nokia is back—a new Nokia, yet still retaining the finest details in craftsmanship, refinement, and a serious commitment to user experience.

Nokia 8 has thick top and bottom bezels, and the side bezels are also thick, but that doesn't make it ugly. The device still looks attractive, captivated by its simplicity rather than the futuristic beauty of Galaxy S8, Note8, LG V30, or a slew of newly released smartphones with slim bezels this year.

Thanks to its 5.3” screen, the Nokia 8 feels compact and ergonomic. Despite the prevalent 5.5” size, Nokia 8 offers unexpected comfort. The slight diagonal screen variance, coupled with Nokia's resolution adjustment to 412 x 732, provides a spacious, visually appealing display without any sense of constraint. Currently, only Google Pixel, Nexus, Galaxy Note5, Note8, and OnePlus 5 offer this resolution, underscoring Nokia's commitment to user experience.

Nokia excels in sound selection. All startup, message, and call tones are distinctively Nokia's, showcasing HMD Global's meticulous attention to detail with the Nokia 8. Understandably, with Nokia's renowned brand heritage, HMD Global ensures every aspect of the Nokia 8 is meticulously crafted. Nokia 8 adopts a nearly stock Android interface, sparing additional bloatware or customization, apart from the camera app and a Pixel-like round icon launcher. This minimalistic approach ensures a smooth and swift operation akin to Google Pixel or Nexus devices, rather than a third-party manufacturer's device.

In terms of user-friendliness and comfort, the Nokia 8 deserves a perfect 10/10 score, leaving no room for criticism. It's a phone designed for everyday, every-hour use, allowing you to use it comfortably without worrying about its brand or any special functions. This is the essence of product experience. You pick it up, you use it—neat and delightful. Few products have evoked similar feelings for me, like the Pebble Time Round, iPhone 7 Plus, HTC U11, and Google Pixel. I'll share more about the battery and camera after prolonged use of the Nokia 8. I'm planning a trip to Cam Ranh soon, and I'll be taking the Nokia 8 along to test its camera performance, worthy of the ZEISS logo it proudly carries.
