Hands-on with Redmi Note 12 Pro featuring a simple, youthful design
The overall exterior of the Redmi Note 12 Pro remains extremely familiar, similar to other Redmi Note 12 products introduced this year. The device is crafted based on a slightly square plastic frame and has gently curved edges at the 4 corners, providing a comfortable grip experience for users.

The back of Redmi Note 12 Pro is flat and textured with matte plastic. Despite the matte plastic, the device tends to attract fingerprint smudges. It's advisable to clean the device regularly to maintain its pristine appearance. Additionally, using a phone case can help protect the device from unwanted external impacts while keeping it clean.

To distinguish Redmi Note 12 Pro from Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Xiaomi redesigned the camera module for easy recognition. The camera cluster of Redmi Note 12 Pro is housed within a rectangular frame running vertically along the body, with one large lens at the top and four smaller lenses below. This design reminds me of the camera cluster of Xiaomi 12 Series but at a lower aesthetic level.

As for the position of the connection ports and accompanying physical buttons of Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Xiaomi has placed them in locations similar to other devices from the company. Therefore, you can quickly get accustomed to them. You can have a clearer understanding by checking out the image below!

Turning to the front, Redmi Note 12 Pro features a familiar pinhole display with a fairly small selfie camera at the top. The screen bezels of the device are optimally thin, providing a captivating look, with only the bottom bezel slightly thicker. However, for a mid-range device, we can't expect much more.

Redmi Note 12 Pro boasts a 6.67-inch display, operating on an AMOLED panel, Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for Dolby Vision Atmos. These are familiar specs found on current mid-range devices. Therefore, the device will satisfy you with its entertainment and work experience as well as smooth touch gestures.
