The packaging of the Tecno Pova 5 has a rather unique design with a square prism shape. The outer box is wrapped in a layer of paper featuring images of the game title, demonstrating the manufacturer's collaboration with this game. Inside the box, there will be a user code that players can enter into the game to receive in-game items.
After removing the outer layer, we can see the device box with two tones of gray and black. The box lid is printed with the name of the device with the number 5 stylized. Inside the box, aside from the device, there is a 45W charger and cable, user manual, a transparent case, and .
In terms of design, the Tecno Pova 5 boasts an extremely unique design. The manufacturer calls it the Mecha-style 3D design. The back is divided by cut lines to create a sensation similar to emerging patterns rather than just being printed.
The glossy back surface, accompanied by two raised sensors, makes the back extremely prone to dust, sweat, and fingerprint smudges.
The edges are squared off but still provide ample comfort during usage. Holding the device feels incredibly sturdy.

The screen bezels are still quite thick, especially the bottom bezel. However, thanks to the thick bezels, accidental touches during gaming are avoided.
In terms of specifications, the Tecno Pova 5 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Out of the box, the phone comes with the HiOS 13 user interface on the Android 13 operating system.
The device scores 436,300 points in the Antutu Benchmark test. Similarly, it scores 734 points in the single-core test and 2016 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench.
This level of performance is quite good in the mid-range segment and can handle daily tasks as well as gaming with moderate requirements.
The back houses a duo of components: a 50MP main sensor and an AI-powered camera. Additionally, there's an 8MP front camera.
Featuring a robust 6000mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging. According to the manufacturer, it can reach 50% charge in just 21 minutes and fully charge in 60 minutes. Moreover, it supports reverse charging at 10W.
Overall, the Tecno Pova 5 maintains its core values of strong performance and a large battery capacity without undergoing significant changes from its predecessor.
