After a few days of its release, luckily I got my hands on and experienced the latest ASUS model. It can be said that the outstanding design with impressive thinness, 2.8K resolution OLED display, powerful configuration with 13th generation Core i7 CPU are the advantages that the S13 OLED has to become a prominent and attractive computer in the market. In today's article, I will share my experiences with it, let's explore together.

Different from the 2022 version, the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED has a newer design, abandoning the minimalism on the outside, this year ASUS has given this 13-inch Zenbook a new, more modern look with geometric cut patterns running along the A surface of the machine.
Actually, this is the logo of the ZEN series enlarged and stylized to fit the minimalist style, simple yet elegant and prominent.

Not because of that, the machine loses its elegance and luxury, which are inherent characteristics in the design language, these lines combined with the 'ASUS Zenbook' logo on the A surface make the machine more prominent, especially when placed in a place with light shining on it.
Moreover, the A side of the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED is also made in a matte finish to resist fingerprints and enhance the device's premium feel. No need for secondary screens or RGB LEDs when using it in the office, coffee shop, or classroom, it will surely stand out with its super slim, unique, and extremely attractive appearance.

In terms of finish, although the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED is securely finished from Plasma Ceramic Aluminum to provide us with a nearly solid, seamlessly overall device, durability is also enhanced.
The machine also has a very light weight, only 1kg (2.20 lbs) and the overall dimensions of the device are 29.62 x 21.63 x 1.09 cm. This is the lightest business machine at the current time.
Calling the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED the world's thinnest OLED laptop is also correct. With such compact size and light weight, it is very convenient and portable for us to put the device in a briefcase, backpack when going to school, work, or using it anywhere without worrying about heaviness, shoulder fatigue, or taking up too much space.

Unlike its predecessor, the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED's hinge is slightly different, no longer featuring concentric circles on both sides but instead completely flat.
This hinge lifts the body of the machine higher than the flat contact surface, creating space to better optimize heat dissipation when we use it for work, typing documents, and can push the screen up to 180 degrees to increase viewing angles.

Despite its slim and lightweight design, ASUS ensures that we have all the necessary connectivity ports. On the left side of the laptop, there are 2 Thunderbolt 4 USB 4 Type-C ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, and a battery indicator light.

Moving to the right side, we find a 3.5mm headphone jack, an indicator light, and a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port.

Opening it up, let's explore the B side of the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED. As the name suggests, the device is equipped with an ASUS Lumina OLED display, sized at 13.3 inches with a 16:10 aspect ratio, adhering to the modern laptop standards.
The display capabilities of the laptop are remarkable. The ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED boasts a 2.8K resolution (2,880 x 1,800) OLED panel, calibrated by ASUS to display 1.07 billion colors. It undoubtedly delivers the best work and entertainment experience with vibrant colors and high detail. Speaking of the display, the laptop boasts impressive specifications with 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, 90% Adobe RGB, 98% DCI-P3, and Delta E value of approximately 2. The brightness of this screen is measured at 372 nits.
After using this laptop for a while, I am completely impressed by what this display brings. It provides an excellent viewing experience, with detailed and sharp content, and it's exceptionally refreshing.
I've been using this machine for quite some time now, and I'm completely impressed by what this screen offers. Watching content on it is delightful, with vivid colors, sharp details, and incredible clarity.

It's somewhat regrettable that the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED is only equipped with a 60Hz refresh rate display. A higher refresh rate screen would undoubtedly enhance this machine's performance.

The screen bezels are quite slim, providing us with a better viewing angle and more screen real estate.

Below the screen, you'll find the distinctive 'ASUS Zenbook' logo.

The ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED features a Backlit Chiclet Keyboard with a key travel of 1.1mm, providing a satisfying typing experience. Even if it's your first time using it, you won't make many typing mistakes. Perhaps I've grown accustomed to this keyboard layout.
Of course, the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED comes with single-color backlighting. Although it's bright, it's suitable for use in low-light environments, perfect for late-night work or meeting deadlines.

On the B side, it's mostly empty without any function keys. If you look below, you'll see the 'Harman/Kardon' logo, indicating ASUS's collaboration with this renowned audio company to fine-tune and optimize the sound for a vibrant audio experience.

Similarly, there are no additional function keys on the left side. Below, you'll find the 'Dolby Vision Atmos' logo. It's like having a plethora of sounds packed into one machine.

The ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED is also equipped with a fairly large touchpad, providing users with ample space for comfortable and intuitive gestures.

In terms of performance, the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED is powered by the 13th generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor, with up to 32GB of RAM and a whopping 1TB PCIe® 4.0 SSD storage, along with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics.
Overall, the specifications of this machine can adequately meet various work requirements, such as using Office applications, handling online meetings, light photo and video editing, all while maintaining smooth performance.

Below are the performance benchmarks of the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED in popular benchmarks:
As for battery life, the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED is equipped with a 4-cell li-ion battery with a capacity of 63WHrs, providing approximately 7-8 hours of usage, which is enough for extended outdoor use without worrying too much about charging.

And that concludes the upper part of the ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED. It can be said that this is a sleek, compact Ultrabook with an elegant and sophisticated design, packed with numerous standout technologies from the stunning OLED display to the powerful configuration suitable for work and entertainment. As for the price, the 2023 ASUS Zenbook S13 OLED is priced at 39.99 million VND and will be available in the Vietnamese market soon.
